    Description

Up for sale is a Stratasys 3D printer.  We purchased this from NASA, yes really!  (see the asset ID tag).
This was originally a Titan model but they had it factory upgraded to a 400 (see pic of screen display) with a new controller and print heads.  It is the larger build envelope and has 2 material and 2 support bays for extended run time.
As would be expected it was low use and under exceptional maintenance.  The print heads were just rebuilt and I have unlock codes for all the supported materials.  We purchased with the intent of a partnership with a buddy that is a industrial designer that was going to relocate to our area.  He had some family health concerns and is no longer available. We are a fabrication shop and lack the computer modeling skills to make proper use of this machine.
We have had it powered up and made one batch of test parts when he was up visiting.  One of the cooling fans is noisy and I would replace; they are just small pancake fans (available through digi-key etc).
There is an aftermarket sales and service company called "NEXT Manufacturing".  They sell most of the materials other than soluble support and even have a couple that stratasys doesn't offer.  They were recommended to me by a friend who before retiring ran the FDM department at a model shop and they had 3 400's and a 900.  One of their 400's was an ET like this machine and she said it was the most reliable of the lot!  When their machines were through the initial service contract with stratasys they used NEXT for their service, they were less costly and more responsive.  She said their material was more reliable than other aftermarket as well.
Also included in the sale is a bunch of empty canisters (20) that can be reused for aftermarket material and a couple with material on them.  Also included is a Stratasys Clean Station.  It is a ultrasonic tank with a rinse bay for removing soluable support.  It was purchased
    separately
and needs work.  We will bring it to the shop and access when we have a chance and will update.
We would be happy to show under power and if you bring material you can make parts.  If you aren't local you could send a tech on your behalf.  Or if you need specific pictures of the machine or display screens just let us know.
