Vintage Edwin M. Knowles Utility Ware Refrigerator Jug/Pitcher

Description

This is a vintage Edwin M. Knowles "Utility Ware" refrigerator jug/pitcher with ice lip.
Cream color with a decal of apple/pear/grapes on one side.
Measures 9" from tip of spout to edge of handle, 7" tall and 3 1/2" wide.
In amazing condition with no chips or cracks and inside is very clean. Base does show some wear from age.
The Edwin M. Knowles China Company of East Liverpool, Ohio, first produced Utility Ware in 1938. It was a line of streamlined modern kitchen ware with decorative rings and decals depicting sequoia, fruit, tia juana and a range of floral treatments.
